Reactivity of Ts and At oxides and oxyhydrides with a gold surface from periodic DFT calculations

Anton Ryzhkov, Valeria Pershina, Miroslav Iliaš and Vladimir Shabaev Adsorption energies, Eads, of oxides and oxyhydrides of the superheavy element (SHEs) Ts and of its lighter homologue At on the gold surface are predicted on the basis of relativistic periodic density functional theory calculations via AMS BAND software. The following compounds were considered: …

Study of the Structure of the ⁹Be Nucleus in the Alpha-Cluster Model by the Method of Hyperspherical Functions

A. S. Bazhin and V. V. Samarin The energy and the squared modulus of the wave function of the ground state of the 9Be nucleus as a system of two alpha-clusters and an outer neutron were calculated using hyperspherical functions. A system of hyperradial equations was solved using cubic splines. The …

Neutrino spin oscillations near a black hole

Mridupawan Deka, Maxim Dvornikov In this work, we study neutrino spin oscillations in the case when they are gravitationally scattered off a rotating Kerr black hole surrounded by a thick magnetized accretion disk. We consider only toroidal magnetic field inside the disk. Neutrino spin precession is caused by the interaction of …

Spin Oscillations in Neutrino Gravitational Scattering

Mridupawan Deka and Maxim Dvornikov We study neutrino spin oscillations while the particles scatter off a rotating black hole surrounded by a thick magnetized accretion disk. Neutrino spin precession is caused by the interaction of the neutrino magnetic moment with the magnetic field in the disk which has both toroidal …

Skyrmion crystal phase on a magnetic domain wall in chiral magnets

Yuki Amari, Muneto Nitta We study a magnetic domain wall in the ferromagnetic phase in chiral magnets in two dimensions with an in-plane easy-axis anisotropy and an out-of-plane Zeeman magnetic field, and find a chiral soliton lattice (spiral) phase beside a ferromegnetic phase inside the domain line, where the former represents …

Domain-wall skyrmion chain and domain-wall bimerons in chiral magnets

Yuki Amari, Calum Ross, and Muneto Nitta We construct domain-wall skyrmion chains and domain-wall bimerons in chiral magnets with an out-of-plane easy-axis anisotropy and without a Zeeman term coupling to a magnetic field. Domain-wall skyrmions are skyrmions trapped inside a domain wall, and they are present in the ferromagnetic (FM) phase of …
